Rice Group’s primary business as a land developer has shaped the company into a successful provider of various constructions services. This experience has defined the companies, quality and cost effectiveness of the services it provides.

While the thrust of the company is completion of its own projects, our construction division is now recognized as a provider to third parties of site preparation, site servicing, site remediation, and demolition. Our aggregates division is known for our supply of quality aggregates, concrete recycling, disposal services, and trucking.

Rice Group is a dynamic vertically integrated company continuing to expand to supply the services required to build infrastructure through out the GTA.


 

Site Preparation

As an experienced developer we understand how important timelines are to each project. We believe in providing the most efficient earthworks solution to meet and excel expectations.

Site Servicing

Rice Group completes site preparation and site servicing for their own projects and select clients. Rice completes on site servicing works, and municipal works completed as part of private subdivision work. The work is completed cost effectively and in accordance with municipal requirements often on an expedited build process concurrent with design.

 

Trucking

Rice Group provides a cost effective, efficient, courteous and safe trucking service to the infrastructure and servicing industry. Rice Group’s fleet consists of late model triaxles, livebottom trailers, roll-off trucks and off road rocktrucks available by contract or hourly rates. Float services are also available from 5 to 60 ton for most pieces of equipment.

High-Quality Aggregates

RICE is a supplier of quality aggregates to the industry, including aggregates supplied by the largest producers and products made to exacting standards by RICE GROUP forces.



 

Recycling

Rice Group provides custom concrete / asphalt crushing, soil screening and clean up services for our development projects and for third party works. Custom crushing and screening on a contract or hourly basis is available. Rice Group has the equipment, ability and knowledge to supply and execute onsite crushing and soil screening / remediation for redevelopment projects.

Disposal Services

To maintain your site properly, we offer a variety of rental disposal bins that are ideal for all your construction needs. Various roll-off bin sizes available, ranging from 14-40 yards.

Some of our projects

SKYSERVICE | Mississauga, ON

Skyservice is a co-owned project build on Federal lease lands at the Pearson Airport. The project is leased to Skyservice for 30 years.  The site comprises 8 acres of airside land. The Development includes an airline hangar of 200 feet X 400 feet clear span, with 20,000 sq.ft. of ground side offices and a 20,000 sq.ft. air side passenger terminal.  The project commenced in the spring of 2019, with occupancy set for November 2019.  

Costco Canada | Toronto, ON

Thorncliffe Costco is a project co-owned and developed by Rice Group in 2017-18.  The Building is leased to Costco Canada for 40 years. The site comprises of 13 acres of prime Toronto real estate in the Thorncliffe Market. This is a non standard proto-type building that includes heritage elements of the Coca Cola head office.  The site comprises 164,000 sq ft store and approximatley 700 at grade parking spots.
